This is an Interlude chronicles server whose implementation stays as close to the official one as possible. Upon logging in, your character starts at level 80 with the Noblesse skill. Safe enchant of items reaches +30, while the maximum is +100 with a 90% chance. Enchants take up only a single inventory slot, and all items are sold already enchanted to +30. You can pick up your profession in a couple of clicks from a special NPC, and the tedious subclass and Noblesse quests are absent. When taking a subclass, your character remains at level 80. The penalty for wearing armor and weapons of any Grade is disabled. The game features completely new tier 3 armor and weapons, two new tattoos for the mage and the warrior, as well as the server's unique currencies. Automatic events are active, and new raid bosses, NPCs and mobs have been added. Everything can be achieved through gameplay.

A classic Lineage 2 Interlude server focused on PvP with high rates (x1200). All the NPCs you need are available right in the ALT+B menu: GM Shop, Buffer, Global Gatekeeper, and Auction. Buffs last 2 hours, with 42 slots available and convenient profiles. Three main locations are dedicated to farming and PvP: Ketra, Varka, and Dino. After teleporting, your character is protected for 5 seconds. Soulshot, Spiritshot, and arrows are unlimited. BlockBuff and a skill for converting Adena into Gold Bar are implemented. Apella sets have received increased stats from Dark Crystal, Imperial Crusader, and Draconic Light Armor (the bonus does not apply in the Olympiad).

Game Life is a non-commercial Lineage 2 server on the Interlude chronicle with an x50 rate. The project is free: all in-game valuables, PA and add-ons can be obtained through gameplay. Gameplay features: - All prices are reduced by 10 times, and teleport costs by 100 times. - Newbie Buff is active from level 5 to level 39 inclusive. - All quests are implemented; some quests have an increased drop chance in line with the server's rates. - Special mobs starting from level 10. - The Seven Seals run through a full cycle. - Interlude clan system: 8 levels, Academy, Guards, Knights, Sponsor. Clan Points, Apella Armor, clan reputation quests, castle siege rewards and task rewards all work correctly. - Fishing and the manor system, augmentation with all add-ons, duels and party battles are fully implemented. - A convenient .menu, off-trade and off-craft functions (from a single account you can put all 7 characters into offline mode). - Unique chests have been added to the drop. Epic jewelry is not sold or enchanted by the administration. Character start: a Top-NG set and consumables, automatic learning of all skills. Professions are purchased in towns from the profession manager. Subclass is available upon reaching level 76 without a quest. Enchant: weapons up to +16, gear and jewelry up to +10 (floating chance). Levels 1-3 succeed with a 100% chance, after which the chance decreases; an enchant reset down to +3 is provided. Shops: new Luxor items in Giran, FA-HC-FA exchange at all bankers, FA can be sold to any shop, and the FA rate changes daily.

Gameplay features: - There is no limit on the number of windows, and the offline trade limit has been removed. - All character skills are learned automatically, and drop pickup is automatic as well. - The maximum carrying weight is doubled from the base value. - Global GateKeeper: teleporting to towns costs 1 Adena. - Entry to Cruma Tower is available without restrictions. - CursedWeapon is active from the very start of the server. - Teleportation to the Primeval Isle location is available (travel cost 100 000 Adena). - A currency exchange has been implemented for more convenient storage. - Mana Potions restore 500 MP with a 5-second cooldown (forbidden at the Olympiad). - Mammon (the blacksmith and merchant) are located in Giran Castle Town. - Automatic use of CP, HP and MP potions. - The Block Buff skill blocks buffs from other players (does not work at the Olympiad).

Hotwar is a PvP Lineage 2 server on the Interlude chronicles with x5.000 rates, focused on dynamic combat. Your character starts right at level 38, the profession is granted for free, Noblesse and skills are available from the very start, and learning skills is automated. The maximum enchant for weapons, armor, and jewelry is +25. Success chances for enchanting by tier are: up to +10 — 100%, +16 — 75%, +20 — 60%, +22 — 40%. The weapon augmentation chance is 15%, and a weapon with a skill can be passed through trade. A PvP buffer is set up: buff duration is 2 hours, 48 slots, and buffs are not lost upon death. To declare war on a clan, 6 people are enough instead of 15, the Olympiad is balanced, and no quest is required for a subclass. The inventory is increased from 80 to 200 slots, and two farm zones and a GM-Shop are available. Level 80 epic raid bosses come with a guaranteed drop of epic jewelry, and the respawn of regular bosses is every 4 hours. Epic boss timings: Ant Queen — about 24 hours, Core and Orfen — 36 hours each, Zaken — 36 hours, Baium — 72 hours, Antharas — 96 hours, Frintezza — 48 hours, Valakas — 11 days.

Interlude — the chronicle that outlived everyone

Chronicle 6: Interlude was released in 2006 and forever changed Lineage 2. NCSoft added olympiad, hero system, clan halls via auction, Seven Signs, and Dimensional Rift. But the main thing — it gave players the formula that still works today: class balance, clear rules, minimum RNG outside of over-enchanting.

Why did C6 become "that very" chronicle? It's simple. Interlude has nothing extra. No elemental system, no vitality, no Awakening overhauls. There are 31 final professions, sub-classes, epic jewelry, and PvP where the one who best knows their class wins. The private scene picked up this version instantly — and hasn't let go.

Why C6 hasn't died for twenty years

Each subsequent chronicle complicated L2: Gracia added elements and vitality, GoD overhauled classes into Awakening system. Some players accepted the changes, some didn't. Interlude remained for those who want classic without compromises. Server files are polished to perfection, bugs are known and documented, and there are more build manuals than for any other chronicle.

On private servers, Interlude consistently ranks in the top-2 by popularity alongside High Five. At the same time, the entry threshold is lower: mechanics are more transparent, learning curve is smoother.

What you'll get on an Interlude server

31 sub-classes, Noblesse via quest chain, hero contention via olympiad. SA-weapon defines the build, augmentation grants powerful active skills to the best of the best. Epic RB (Antharas, Valakas, Baium, Zaken, Frintezza) — clans wage real wars for jewelry from them.

Castle Siege on Interlude is canonical. Without custom frills of later chronicles: everything comes down to tactics, force deployment, alliance coordination. Mass-PvP feels fair — organization wins, not the one who spent the most money.

Classes and meta: who rules on C6

In mass-PvP, Necromancer, Bishop (holding), and Spellhowler and Sorcerer (AoE damage) dominate. Daggers — Treasure Hunter and Abyss Walker — best choice for 1v1 and solo farming. Tanks (Dark Avenger, Paladin) hold the front on sieges, Warlord and Overlord carry clan content. BD + SWS — mandatory combo for any party.

Archer meta on Interlude is controversial: archers are strong in skilled hands but forgive mistakes less than daggers. Healer without a party is useless, but in a group — indispensable.

Who Interlude appeals to

Those who experienced L2 in 2006–2010 and want to return "home." Hardcore players for whom vitality and auto-fight are dirty words. Players not ready to deal with the multi-layered systems of GoD and Essence, but just log in, gather a party, and head to siege. If you need pure L2 — Interlude is exactly that.
