Lineage 2 Private Servers by Chronicle 2026
In Lineage 2 the game version is called a chronicle: it defines the classes, zones, sieges, equipment grades and PvP balance. BestGames lists projects across chronicles — from classic to modern — so you can pick a familiar experience or try a new format.
Which Lineage 2 chronicles are available
The classic line is loved for its proven balance: Interlude (C6) is the most popular private-server chronicle, and High Five is the last classic version with an expanded endgame. For custom content, see Interlude+ builds. Among modern versions there are Essence with simplified solo leveling and Goddess of Destruction with the Awakening system.
How to choose your chronicle
If you want classic PvP, sieges and the Olympiad, start with Interlude or High Five. If you are short on time and want fast progress, look at Essence or GoD. Rates within a chronicle set the pace: x1–x10 is steady play, x100 and above is a fast start. Compare every project on the Lineage 2 rating home page.
