High Five, also known as CT2.6, was released in 2011 and became the final point of the classic Lineage 2 chronicle lineup before the global shift with Goddess of Destruction. For thousands of players, HF remains "that very version": no Awakening classes yet, no auto-battle, no simplifications — only hardcore mechanics, manual control, and real skill.

Private High Five servers have dominated for over ten years. The reason is simple — stable, well-studied files, refined balance, and a vast knowledge base on builds, skills, and tactics. If you're looking for an L2 private server for the first time or returning after a break, HF is the most predictable and reliable choice.

From Gracia to High Five: the path to balance

Gracia laid the foundation — elemental system, vitality. Gracia Epilogue added Kamaloka and new instances. High Five perfected everything: adjusted class balance, expanded Kamaloka, improved Dimensional Rift. SA stones, augmentation, epic jewelry refining (Antharas, Valakas, Baium, Zaken, Frintezza) — every mechanic is polished. NCSoft never touched this build again, so it wasn't broken.

What awaits on a High Five server

The core gameplay is classic leveling through farm zones and RB. 36 sub-classes, Noblesse quest, fight for server hero status via monthly olympiad. Castle Sieges on Saturdays, clan wars, mass-PvP on epic RB — a rhythm that keeps you hooked for months.

Rates on private servers range from x1 (hardcore for half a year) to x1200 (PvP from day one). The most popular segment is x5–x50, where farming takes a couple weeks, but economy and PvP stay meaningful. Overenchant, SA weapon sharpening, elemental buffs — all decide battle outcomes.

Class balance and PvP meta

High Five is one of the few chronicles where every class has a role. Tanks (Shillien Templar, Phoenix Knight) hold the frontlines in sieges. Cardinal and Elven Elder are indispensable in parties.
